Lawn Sprinkler

Stuff That Works

Nelson Lawn Tractor
I bought this lawn tractor in July, 2003, and it's still going.  Built like a tank, and nothing has ever broken.  I've never seen another one being used in all hat time.  Kids stop and watch it.  The rotating sprinkler is tied to a gear that moves the wheels.  That's it.  Lay the garden hose on the path you want watered, and it will follow, dragging the hose behind.  Schlong tested and approved.

I have/use one too--they're great. Had so much rain this year though I haven't needed to use it.

I just wish it was 100% metal though. The plastic parts will eventually break.

Do you still have the little platform that the tractor drives up on and turns itself off?

Mine does not have a piece of plastic on it.

We still have the platform, but we never use it, so it's hidden in the tall grass about now.
