Let's start de-saudifying

  Our Saudi Friends

or, "Eat sh*t and die"
Our wonderful friends the Saudis eat a camel shit pizza
The war  [against "radical Islam]  will be lost incrementally because we are unable to reverse the ongoing radicalization of Muslim populations in South Asia, Indonesia, the Balkans, Western Europe and, yes, North America. And who is behind that radicalization? Who funds the mosques and Islamic centers that in the last 30 years have set up shop on just about every Main Street around the planet?

For the answer, let us turn to a fascinating book called "Alms For Jihad: Charity And Terrorism In The Islamic World"  .... Can't find it in your local Barnes & Noble? Never mind, let's go to Amazon. Everything's available there. [Nope} ... if you then try to buy "Alms For Jihad," you discover that the book is "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock." Hang on, it was only published last year.

*snip*

Well, let us cross the ocean thousands of miles from the Amazon warehouse to the high court in London. Last week, the Cambridge University Press agreed to recall all unsold copies of "Alms For Jihad" and pulp them. In addition, it has asked hundreds of libraries around the world to remove the volume from their shelves. This very unusual action was accompanied by a letter to Sheik Khalid bin Mahfouz, in care of his English lawyers, explaining the reasons:  [Mark Steyn - A censorship sheikdown?]

For those who don't want to leave home, the answer is that Sheik Khalid bin Mahfouz is very well connected, indeed, and British libel law overwhelmingly favors the plaintiff. Mr. Steyn leaves us with this pleasantry:

We've become accustomed to one-way multiculturalism: The world accepts you can't open an Episcopal or Congregational church in Jeddah or Riyadh, but every week the Saudis can open radical mosques and madrassahs and pro-Saudi think-tanks in London and Toronto and Dearborn, Mich., and Falls Church, Va. Their global reach extends a little further day by day, inch by inch, in the lengthening shadows, as the lights go out one by one around the world.

Then maybe we should set forth in burning all mosques until Islam is nothing more than smoldering ashes.

If I were king, the Moosies could have a mosque in (fill location) when Jews and Christians can have a synagogue and a church in Mecca.

Until then, no fuggin way.

As far as I'm concerned, tolerance and freedom of religion are two way streets.

I think yours is the 1,973 expression of the same sentiment - on this blog alone (I own 172 of them). What matters is the doing, so how will that be accomplished? `

The Christian ethic says Love your enemies (Matthew), bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you. Western fables, traditions, and homilies say to observe your enemies and learn from them, forgive them, be patient and tolerant of them.

The Islamic ethic says to offer Islam to the infidel and if he doesn’t accept it then slay him.

The true enemies of peace are greed, ambition, envy, anger, ignorance, pride, political correctness, and Islam, in reverse order of importance.

The avatar I use on SondraK’s site is Walt Kelly’s Pogo, who gave us this profound truism: We have met the enemy and he is us.

how will that be accomplished?
Rodger, If I were wise enough to know how to accomplish that without awaiting the massive bloodshed of the next catastrophic al Qaeda event, or charismatic enough to lead a revolution against the Left and their undermining of our war effort, their political correctness undermining our culture, and their subversion of our Constitution, I would be king. At least for as long as it took.
Seriously my friend, I don't know the details, but I'm afraid one or both of the above will come to pass, and when I think of the agony of the American Civil War, I dread it.

Tailgunner, you have to consider that if indeed it does come to civil war {and it may very well} that we {the conservitives}have most likely 80% of the guns in private hands in this country. It would certinly not last long befor victory could be declared. The big thing to worry about is where would the military stand?

Well since the military is probably mostly made up of Conservatives... That shouldn't be a problem.
