A few years ago we buried one of my uncles- he had runaway and joined the Marines at 14 lied about his age -went to Korea 1st Marines With Chesty @ Chosin he was too young for that, never recovered from it really.
He shot himself one day-it was terrible.
The one bright spot of the day was the ceremony conducted so professionally and reverently by the VFW. I hope they ignore this clap trap.

I can see the Republican Leadership (what there is of it) taking this up on the house floor and making folks vote on it in a bill.
