How do you find out what not to do?
See what those two losers would do and then do it differently.
Condi is a smart cookie.

Well... maybe she's just trying to get them into a room together and then plans to call in an airstrike?
It's what I would do if I had the chance.

I suspect she's trying to get them to expend their energies (e.g. spout their liberal bullshit) in private, rather than in public. Political rope-a-dope. Tire them out. Make them feel as though they're being listened to.
Or the others could be correct and it's as it appears on its face -- she's utterly clueless, in political waters waaaaay over her head. Out of ideas and looking for advice no matter how worthless.
God, how I hope it's the former and not the latter.
