I submitted more than five questions on issues important to me. I did a policy memo on Yucca Mountain a year ago and was the finalist for the Truman Scholarship. Some years ago, on a lazy Sunday afternoon, I was watching C-Span. Gus Hall, the late American Communist Party Boss was giving a speech to a bunch of empty chairs. That was followed by Dick Gerhardt speaking to some other group. It was quite uncanny (and why I remember it) that the two gentlemen made nearly identical points, using nearly identical language. Things have only gone downhill for Democrats since then. Socialists? Maybe, but a socialist is only a communist without a gun. [" Looks like a bunch of ducks to me" June 16, 2005] ” It's bad form to link to yourself, but sometimes I have to, because I remember what I said where other's words have disappeared down the myriad hidey holes that now pepper my brain.   I don't know why reading yet another story of media/democrat party  manipulation triggered this memory.  Maybe because, in my lifetime at least, the practice of deflecting scrutiny by accusing your accusers of that which  you are guilty of, has been a hallmark of the communist party. Since that Sunday - about 15 years ago, it's been manifestly apparent to me that American democrats are transmogrified into ratbastardcommies in thought, word, and deed. Whenever 'crats accuse a political foe of anything, you can take it to the bank that buried under some rock is evidence that will indict them of that very charge. My brain is puking over it.
