You'd think this is only common sense but talking to people like my creepy liberal sister exposes a naive attitude that I will never understand. She and her condescending husband live in Chicago which has gun restrictions similar to DC. She's happy there are no handguns allowed(essentially) in Chicago and when I tell her that criminals ignore that law, her smug reply is that, well than they are breaking the law. End of discussion.
