"But Rodge, what shoud we do? Nuke everybody? " Yes. Yes we should.

"The US was once again the biggest player, biggest polluter, and the biggest stumbling block ...."

Joie Chen, CBS NEWS, reporting on UN climate change conference.

The finish to the negotiations came after a last-minute standoff in the public plenary at the end of a day of high emotions, with the co-organizer of the conference, Yvo de Boer, fleeing the podium at one point as he held back tears. - New York Times

This CBS NEWS video of  the  United States' "capitulation" at the UN's play baby Global Warming conference in Bali speaks for itself.  When, by all appearances, our representative Paula Dobriansky acquiesced  - after being booed - it  had to leave this congragation of Romper Roomers,  already egged on  by the despicable Al Gore's denunciation of us, with the impression that we are an easy mark.  And could Joie Chen possibly be more politically obvious? Bush may be playing rope-a-dope with these mutton heads, but that's a dangerous game. The truth is on his side; proclaim it, defend it, and slaughter for it dammit.

China overtook the United States in 2006 as the world's biggest emitter of carbon dioxide, the greenhouse gas blamed for the bulk of global warming, a policy group that advises the Dutch government said.

Thanks, we reported as much here; not that the Climate Comrades are interested in such heresy.
