Bottoms Up!

The Earth is a Better Place Today
Hell, not so much

Philip Agee ... left the CIA in 1969 after 12 years. In 1975 he wrote "Inside the Company: CIA Diary," an indictment of the agency. Agee accused the CIA of serious offenses against leftists in the region and revealed covert CIA operations there.

Twenty-two pages of the book were devoted to a list of names of undercover agents. Washington says several on the list were later murdered. In response to Agee's betrayal, Congress eventually passed a law making it illegal to name clandestine agents [Duh].

He' s dead. He had been in a Cuban hospital since Dec. 15 after having ulcer surgery. The most likely cause of death was Castro Care. One assumes he will rest in the Ninth Circle of Hell for eternity.    [My bastardization of this IBD story.]
