I am still pulling for Fred. I love this country more than anything and have a lot invested in it and I do not just mean taxes. I mean blood and skin. I want it to be here for my neices and nephews and my son and his family and for all future Americans. I know that Fred Thompson represents the very best hope that all I love about this nation will endure. He is simply the most fit to lead out of the field on all sides. I would have liked to supported a fellow veteran McCain but cannot because he has turned into a true democrap and espouses the very things that will destroy the US faster than any Moslim cultist and that is open borders and amnesty.Not to mention dozens of other reason that shows he is not trust worthy.

McCain did more damage to this nation, by destroying free speech, than every enemy we have ever met on the battlefield - combined - managed to do. From that standpoint, even Hillary is a better choice.

Dammittohell! It looks like McCain is going to win South Carolina. He has the endorsements of the main newspapers. He has the endorsements of most of the local Republican office holders. He's raised more money and is spending more money.
With his sermon yesterday at First Baptist North in Spartanburg, that littlebastardhuckabee is peeling off Southern Baptists votes that would have otherwise gone to Thompson. -
