Matt Lauer- Tim Russert

Straight talk and obsfucation

From Mark Finkelstein , perhaps the best Newsbuster, Wow! Straight Talk From Lauer on Surge, Media Double-Standard

The Today co-anchor this morning suggested an MSM double-standard on the Dem and GOP races and acknowledged the success of the surge.
\
MATT LAUER: How much of a tightrope are they walking with the apparent success of the surge over the last couple months, how difficult is it for these Democratic candidates to score points on Iraq right now?

Yeah, that's nice, and I'm glad to see it, but I see something else after watching the video (sorry for the voice sync).  I see a text-book example of the liberal media cynicism that's led me to *despise* elected democrats and their media enablers.

Answering Lauer's question, Tim Russert, whose earnestness on the matter suggests that he's not calculating, but legitimately stupid, tacitly admits that what democrats have to do is disregard the truth and play to their base, the George Soros financed Moveon.org lunatics.  Also note how Russert deftly turns the acrimonious state of today's race-baiting democrat presidential race ("embarrassment of riches" for democrats) into a problem for Republicans (they have too many candidates in the race).

Finally, Russet's observation that conservatives are less than happy with George Bush is accurate, but that's problematical only if we were not mad as hell, and opted for someone just like him (can you say Huckaboo?).

You're like that Star Trek episode about the Empath. Only instead of absorbing pain(although that's debatable, because watching these asshats has got to be painful) you're absorbing BS

I've finally gotten back to watching FOX on Sunday morning, I like Brit.
