Lambs at the sausage factory

"Ahh. But they won’t have to force it. The people will ask for it.
In fact, they’ll demand it!"

On some issues the public is ahead of its political leaders. Sex education is one of them. By substantial margins, Floridians favor providing students with information about sexually transmitted disease prevention and contraception rather than just an abstinence-only approach favored by the Bush administration. The Legislature should hear this call and put the health of Florida's teens ahead of a narrow, religiously grounded agenda. [Teach sex ed built on facts, not dogma]

Yet the "open minded" liberals believe children should remain completely ignorant about firearms, going so far as to even pan photographs of the evil devices.

Liberalism is a mental disease that destroys the ability to reason as well as the sense of humor.

It is strange how including abstinance in the sex ed classes is called abstinance only by Libs.
It is equally strange how teenaged pregnacies and STDs have skyrocketed since sex ed got real big.

Florida, which voted for Bush both times, has a Must-Issue policy on concealed carry, and has abolished its 'flee before fighting' laws, is not the paragon of liberalism Anonymous suggests.
