Why McCain Might Wanna Think About This, PDQ!

A Barr walked into three presidential candidates ... (insert punchline here).

Oh puhlease, please, not another Perot fiasco. Just enough Repubs are pissed off at the Party and the foisting of McCain on us by Dems and Independents to jump and vote for this guy if he's anyway telegenic and appears mentally competent. The political survivalist bitch could very well be cunning and crooked enough to wrest delegates from Obama and be our next president if he jumps in.

This whole election cycle, coupled with Bush's inept communication/party leadership skills and the bumbling Republican Party leadership is a nightmare, both personal and for our country. Lt. Col. Gen. Tailgunner dick

I guess the country club Republican strategy has some holes. If McCain was DOA, which I believe he is, then Barr is the funeral procession.

It's a pretty good idea, which means it has no chance of happening. McCain would rather pick another rino for vp.

But if he did pick a Libertarian, wow. That would be fun to see. I might even vote for the bastard(s), but for now I'm sticking with my Plan A:

Obama in '08, Backlash in '10!

My point is that Barr will likely get the Libertarian nomination, and wreak havoc on McCain's campaign. Barr is still highly thought of in conservative circles for having the balls to stand up to liberals in congress, including a key role in impeaching Clinton. I won't vote for him, but some will, maybe a lot more than some. Think Perot.

My guess is he'll side with George Voinovitch or Lindsey Graham.

Once a RINO back-stabber, always a RINO back-stabber.

Maybe he'll forget the whole idea and just go ahead and open the little tavern he always wanted,"Barr's Joe and Grill"

Barr used to was be my rep. in Congrefs, but then the districts were shuffled. He chose to take the easy way 'guaranteed win'... and lost. He even sold his house and moved to be in the 'right' district, heh.
He's full of himself, and works for the ACLU now. That should tell you about all you need to know. He won't get my vote, and not many of his old constituents here in GA.

Nah, this isn't a Perot situation. Were he to run, he wouldn't be taking votes from McCain but, rather, Reagan's reanimated corpse.
