US Physicians Want Canadian System

Yeah, like lawyers want tort reform.

Because the left media- of which Reuters belongs, have jiggered facts, even fabricated them outright to suit their politics, I want to say Bull Crap!  My first question is, how many of these doctors have pronounceable names, and are degreed by a U.S. college?  How many of them are practicing physicians?  If the facts do turn out to be representative, than this is another case where liberalism has destroyed the human spirit, and desire to excel.

Many other countries have national plans, including Britain, France and Canada, and several studies have shown the United States spends more per capita on health care, without achieving better results for patients.
Like that ¶. That's a patently false statement.  Naw.  My guess is the media are doing the spade work for the man they intend to crown King Obama Rama.

Yes, crapulous. France has "national health" but many "private" hospitals - to which the UK sometimes sends patients.

Canada? A bit over a year ago, I read an item about a person who had retired and abouy yhree months later diagnosed with an eye problem which would blind him in another six months, unless he got surgery within two months. He was put on an eighteen-month waiting list, which makes "free" sort of beside the point. Being well-off, he had the operation eight days later - in the US. Oh, the job he retired from? Minister of Health (not sure of title) for his Province!

No way did anyone ask my doc. I know his views on the matter. He, of the Jewish faith, said, "When was the last time democrats did anything for doctors or Jews?"

And, he's an excellent doc.
