Buzzzzzzzzz KaBooooooom

WOW

I've been on the Chesapeake Bay during June Week (Naval Academy graduation) when the Blue Angels do their thing, so at first I thought this was that.  Nope, prolly San Diego by the look of things, plus the BA's would never get that low to the deck in traffic anywhere near Annapolis (although they used to).  Nice pic though.

That looks like a "Sound Barrier" shock wave breaking off the rear quarter of the aircraft. I think this is probably a photo shop. Either way, neat picture!

Fleet week in San Francisco. For all the SF bullshit, it's still a navy town.

Yep, this picture was taken during Fleet in San Francisco.

Pilot was checking the fleet for hippies, none found.
Hippies never go near water.

Real picture,Col. Jerry over at SondraK, a former F-18
driver saw that picture and said it was drawing water up and creating that affect.
