Yesterday I got a call from the RNC asking for $$$. I told the girl on the phone that I won't give a nickel. Given the weak leadership, its time the Repubs get their clocks cleaned. The '06 election obviously wasn't enough of a wake-up call for them. When I see a unified block of Repubs supporting things like secure borders, blocking stupid spending bills (Farm bill anyone?), and fighting for further tax / fiscal reform, my wallet stays closed.

RNC called me too, I offered my appologies to the caller and shared the truth that our donations cannot buy representation. Once elected they (Reps) vote however the hell they choose to vote.
This week was a mailer from Sen. McCain asking for us to, X the Yes box, followed by our monetary donation.
Instead, 'took out the blk perm mrkr and replaced the YES with a NO for contributions. In the "other" box we wrote, "When you stop poking us in the eye with a sharp stick we might consider."
Think it fell on def and dumb minds. -
