Deck Mitt

Hey Rodge, we thought you'd be painting deck railing all day?

So did I.  Do you know why I'm not still painting?  Because of this deck mitt  (it's sold as the Painter's Mitt.)  Me and MoSup estimated an all day job, but it took just 90 minutes.  Wearing the mitt, I worked from the outside, getting about 90% coverage, while she got the missed spots with a paint brush.  One caution.  The mitt has a liner that supposedly keeps your hand clean.  Nuh-uh.  Not a real problem this time, because we were using latex paint, but stains?  Wear an under glove.  I would say USA-USA-USA, but the f-ker's made in China.

I can't beleive you used one....I'm afraid I have to stick to the traditional method...lots of time to think.

Had a pal who many years ago, hired out to paint TV antenna towers (residential) and his method was to use a cloth glove...He could do one in short order...He sure could'a used that glove back then.

My God...Did I ever tell you how brilliant you are? This is a job on my to-do list and I have been putting it off. The neighbors will stand in awe.

It might have been made in China but I can tell the ingenuity is all USA!

What a great idea!
