Saturday night, I was at the local high school rodeo. The crowd was about what you would expect at your average high school football game in the South. Several hundred anyway.

While they are loading the bulls into the chutes, the rodeo clown is getting the crowd reved up.

"We got any rednecks here tonight?"

"Whooo! Hell yeah!"

"Any NASCAR fans?"

"WHOOO! HELL YEAH!"

"Anybody going to vote for Barack Obama?"

Total silence.
