Jamaal Turner is Dating Again

Yesterday I perused FIOS TV's Free on demand offerings, which are almost all utter crap, and found a show called I Survived. I clicked it for snickers, and the next thing I knew I was enthralled. If anyone said, "Hey Rodge. you need to watch this A&E series. Three people talk about how they survived incredible circumstances." No dramatization? "No, they just talk." Oh, I'll be sure to watch that right away. Yawn. But, like I said, enthralling.

All three stories in episode one are inspiring, but Bridgette Kelly's is awsome. I edited her section out, and you can watch it here (16 min). After I saw it the second time, joined by MoSup, I had a sense that I'd seen something about Jamaal Turner, Bridgette's rapist. I Googled, and voila. Moonbattery had it last month. In the process, I found another treatment by blogger Cao. Read her take, and see if you don't agree that she deserves a Barn Army commission.

I can sense the exact moment that Bridgette - this is in Texas - that she wished like hell she had a loaded 1911 Colt.

The weird thing was, earlier that day I had seen him driving her car, having no idea she was in the trunk. He had raped and killed before, and when he dumped her, he said he was going back for his gun, he would have to kill her. She crawled as best she could from the ditch and some guys driving by in a Jeep picked her up, put her in and drove away before wasting time to untie her. She was so petrified he was coming back. How she stayed alive while he raped her in her apartment (next door to my house)? Just like this girl. Mind over matter, talked to the guy like he was the mailman. Anonymous said...: I read a story once about a place where it was mentioned that no one had ever been arrested for rape. It wasn't that it never happened, it was because no one who ever committed the crime ever survived long enough to get arrested. If it wasn't just a story, I'd move there. In a proper and just world that place would be anywhere in the US. I know that if this POS had done that to anyone I cared about, he never would have been arrested and he would never do anything like that ever again.

Glad I'm in Virginia, but our days are numbered here too. Then a newborn calf was placed at his feet. The people would then lock the barn doors and walk away. When the screams finally stopped, they would release the now neutered perp, knowing that he would never (due to lack of equipment, if not desire) ever rape again.
