Raw Patriotism

A Good Call


I only caught snippets of Rush today as I traipsed around, but what I did hear knocked me out.  A caller named Darla, from Bellingham, WA, did something few have done - upstage Rush with raw emotion and patriotism.  My guess is that 99%  of you will find a kindred spirit here- even the boys. About 2 minutes (out of maybe 10).

I've felt that very emotion, as have most people I like to associate with. That emotion was 100% love of country, as opposed to what drives ... other people. MoSup got teary eyed too. Darla is the kind of person I would fight to the death for, along with my family and all of youse guys.

The day is going to come when there is a showdown with these CSMF liberals. And it ain't going to be pretty and it's been a long tome coming. They want something that is totally alien to me. And most of youse too. I wonder what will be the tipping point. It'll be some bs incident, I bet, that touches a large swath of us-galvanizes us-I can only pray

Wow! She is dead on and she is not alone in her sentiments. Earlier today I was listening to local radio here is Cincinnati and Cunningham will usually plug the Reds by having a short segment with the Reds announcer. Well, he starts by asking Marty Brennaman about the debut of the rookie phenom Jay Bruce. Marty responds by saying "Scott McClellan is a scumbag." Doesn't say a word about baseball just rips into the traitor in a long tirade.
