Barack Lamont

Presenting the Radical Leftist Stylings Of ...
Ned Lamont II

Ned Lamont II.  That's right.  The same radicals who secured the nomination for the unknown, one trick pony Lamont, over Joe Lieberman in 2006, did it again.  As you'll remember,  Lieberman correctly reasoned that the radical leftists who vote in primaries do not represent the majority, and ran as an Independent.  Connecticut's Republicans joined with level headed Democrats, en masse, and  Lamont was trounced in the general election.

This time around, the way lesser of two evils, and stand-in Republican is John McCain. Expect the same result.

Hillary Clinton on the Independent ticket. Why do people keep thinking that she will gracefully exit? And why should she, if she's won more popular votes than Mr. Obama?

We may have all three Democrats to choose from come November. DD

She can still theoretically get the nomination ... those Super Delegates who put Obama "over the top" are still ethereal. Still, if she doesn't get it, an Independent run would destroy her politically.

No, after her disappointment abates, she'll be setting her sights on Harry Reid's job, and will likely get it. I don't expect there'll be a very warm working relationship with Pelosi, either.

Maybe McCain will pick Hillary as his VP. That would be interesting.
