And what's up with the people who are around this horse? Not the trainer, although he's in a league all by his ownself, but the Long Island pimps who are the horse's "security"? The owner also appears to be a Bronx native (nothing personal against people from the Bronx, but you know what I mean). Wouldn't be a bit surprised to hear that the mob is somehow involved with this syndicate.

Speaking of which, I can imagine someone offering the jockey $millions to do just what he did - the only way that horse could lose was for the jockey to make it so. And if that happened, the same briber could also place bets on a long-shot and make tens of millions......
