Squze me???

What color is the sky in your world? Most kids don't even know what month it is, let alone that Father's Day is mere hours away.

Too many kids these days don't have a dad "in house," and fewer get the chance to see dear old dad for more than a few rare hours on the occasional weekend, and that's only if mommy dearest isn't in a snit about something or other.

If you're lucky enough to still be working on the M1 model marriage, and if said program has produced the kind of off-spring that you don't dream about leaving behind at a truck stop on the interstate, then God bless you, 'cause you're a dad who cares. Happy Father's Day to y'all!

My kids know. I've already received cards from one, and another from a grandbaby, and the rest will be here Sunday. Hoo-ahhhh! My kids are one thing I did right.

My 10-year old neighbor came over looking to mow my lawn because he doesn't have quite enough to buy his Dad the iPod his father wants. This kid mows lawns all over the neighborhood to make $$$ so it's a win-win as far as I'm concerned - my lawn looks nice and his will get a nice gift! You got to encourage the entrepreneurial kids, that's for sure!

How long before Father's Day is banned as a racist and discriminatory remnant of the white supremist culture?
The very word "father" itself will probably become outlawed as hate-speak.

One of my accounts is running a Father's Day Sale.

No need to upcharge for placement. Oh, and did that get comped placement, too? And it ran for more than ordered? Darn. Shame.

What were we thinking?
