Hawaii 2.0

Is it? What's that smell?
I have no intention of beating a dead horse like the lefty's do with every damn thing that some blogger pops up with - like the "Downing Street Memo" crap. But there are discrepancies.
"It's a valid Hawaii state birth certificate," spokesman Janice Okubo said June 13, 2008, after we e-mailed her our copy.( Janice S. Okubo is the communications director) Okubo said a copy of the birth certificate was requested in June 2008, but she wouldn't specify by whom. But as we know from our attempts to get the record in April 2008, Hawaii law states that only family members can access such records. She says that a certficate was requested in June 2008. Look at the date on Obama's certificate (in reverse). June 2007. Who and why would a new certificate be requested if they already had one??
Here's a thread on Hannity's blog that addresses the differences in the Decosta and Obama certificates.
I got a reply from Janice Okubo. She didn't specifically address or explain the discrepancies I pointed out compared to the Decosta certificate, and she mentions her own certificate, which suggests she's not actually addressing this issue from the basis of her own experience or involvement in issuing certificates, but I accept her statement as being factual.

And there is a history of democrat presidential candidates citing frauduent experts when the heat was on (James M. Lyons and Jerry Killian, for starters).
This is not going away until the Hawaii registrar makes a public statement and allows the media to view the live product, and then explains why two certificates issued the same year are different. Then it may go away. For now it's a distraction for the Obama campaign. UPDATED HERE

The Daily Kos birth certificate is indeed fake. Numerous copies of the certificate appear on Photobucket, including one that was date-stamped two minutes before it was uploaded to Daily Kos. Read about here:
