I just watched McCain's communications director Jill Hazelbaker on Fox and Friends.  With a straight face she explained that, no, her boss was against drilling in ANWR "because he thinks it's environmentally [read, politically] sensitive."  But, she continued, her boss has proposed a gas tax holiday that will let the American people keep more of their own money."

Jill, if you knew the limits of your, or anybodies in this instance, communicating ability, you'd have avoided embarrassing yourself by trying to spin McCain's inane, if not insane, ramblings, and thus appearing equally stupid. Sheesh

Where standing means everything, he was third from the bottom of his graduating academy class, yet still became a fixed wing pilot. How dat happen?

Flight school grades and Navy needs at the time, not academy grades, determine what you fly.

It used to be that peer evaluation (for leadership) was the most important gauge. That custom was ened, for some reason. :D McCain graduating means he was held in some repute by classmates, because they had it ion their power to oust him. McCain's life altering disease was becoming a Senator. Few survive the experience with integrity intact.

Here's the deal. After yesterday's SCOTUS ruling, McCain looks like our only option! Remember, whoever wins in November will likely get to put 2-3 justices onto the Court! Do you REALLY want Bambi in charge for that?
