Usually after victory in war, the bad guys are purged. When we won the cold war, this didn't happen. We allowed our internal enemies to retain power. It was a fantastic injustice. Had we held a public airing of who did what when, we could have chopped these assholes off at the knees, and Bill Clinton would have never been elected, but GHWB was too weak. Alas they thrive yet on our tax dollars.
