I used to ride over to Pancho's with my Pop on his motorcycle. We were at Muroc/Edwards from 1950 till '56. There was a smell of stale beer emanating out through the front screen door and a very worn out shuffleboard table just inside. Much of this is accurately re-created in the Right Stuff.

I always wondered what the "cabins" out back by the pool were for...?
