The cross hairs are set for a 300 yard shot (if sighted-in @ 100 yards) for a target-grade .308 NATO round (roughly a 6" hold-over). Given no wind, a steady hand and a decent rifle/round combo, this should deliver a center-mass shot quite nicely...or so I heard somewhere...

That should have been a 9" hold-over and a 200 yard sight-in...

Can shoot, can't type.

50 BMG

Bullet: 750-grain Barnes, ballistic coefficient 1.07
Muzzle Velocity: 2800 feet/sec
Downrange Wind: 0
Crosswind: 3 mph
Temperature: 59.6 °F
Barometric Pressure: 29.92 in Hg
Relative Humidity: 0.0%
Altitude: Sea Level
Zero: 1800 yards
Target Height: 5 feet off ground

Elevation: 62.952 moa

Gives ya 'bout 2150ft/sec velo and 7800ft/lbs at impact, takes the cadet and officer as one target.

That distance gives a better cahnce, I think, of secondary/tertiary shots downrange before all hell breaks loose and it's time for the "sniper bunny" to bolt.......

But it's all in fun....
