My guess is you can deduct 10 points from Obama's poll results. Get ready for a media SUPER SELL. No, I mean ALL NEW SUPER.
The "it won't even be close" meme was just being planted in the last couple of weeks, laying the foundation for the "massive election fraud" and "disenfranchised voters" accusations when Obama loses, which would be followed by 4 years of "McCain is illegitimate". The only way to short-circuit this lie followed by idiocy is McCain being 5-10+ points up in the polls weeks before the election. I think that is possible. McCain is right to let Obama have the stage now and let him keep putting his foot in his mouth. When Summer is over and they go head-to-head in debates McCain will be able to make a fool of Obama- if he has the balls to. If he does, and that's not a sure thing, it will end Obama's national political career.
They're half right, it won't be close.
Annoyed White Male
Notice how Republican career politicians are going down to McCain's ranch and mowing the lawn for him, while McCain decides who to choose for veep? And whenever a reporter approaches a Democrat career politician to ask if he'd like to be the veep nominee, the Dem makes a cross with his index fingers and shouts "Begone, spawn of filth!"?
Might be a clue there.
The election markets still have the dems winning. I don't trust polls.
Only the last month is really important and the TV will be decisive
