She's got the looks Americans love and a great bio.She should be strong with women voters.Ladies can revenge themselves for Hillary's dumping by the media.

Palin's under investigation in Alaska for possibly abusing her office, according to today's WSJ. All I can say is "crap." DD

Besides being a knockout, she brings a lot to the table including an exemplary run as governor.
Let's see, on one hand, I'd have to listen to Michelle Obama for at least the next 4 years or...

Just read the WSJ piece and it's pretty much NBD. She's ruffled a lot of feathers in Alaska and this looks like a cockup to me.

Most conservatives in AK want her to be VP so she'll stop messing things up here.
She is a swell gal, She is pro gun, her sister cleans my teeth, her dad is my daughter's teacher
(a Substitute)they go to the same church with us, but Sarah has RINO/Socialist tendencies, raising taxes on oil companies, "energy rebates", etc. THAT worries me.
I'm still holding out for Bolton.

If he's smart, admittedly a big if, he'll choose Ken Blackwell:

Alaska isn't a swing state, and how about an articulate smart conservative black man on the ticket to make Bobama look like a nitwit.

If McCain adds Palin to the ticket, I will probably vote for them.
Otherwise, I am voting 3rd party.
McCain is simply that awful. - 7/31/08, 11:37 AM

The "abuse of power thing stems from a messy divorce" Sarah's sister was married to a real looser State trooper that let her and their four kids for another married woman in 05, they have since married and divorced (his fourth divorce) the trooper made death threats to his fil, used a tazer on his 11 year old step son, drank on the job, bragged about "faking sober" while driving drunk, ad nauseam, Yep, Sarah reported this behavior, she would have been derelect not to, but the anti Sarah elements here (Andrew Halcrow, lost to SP in the Republican primary-he's still bitter) are trying to make hay from this.
It's a mess.

I could care less about rumors circulating about any Republican VP candidate (although McCain will care). No, what kills her for me is RAK's evaluation.

I sincerely hope he doesn't choose Jindal. I see Jindal doing great things in LA and becoming a superstar of the GOP. He could turn his governorship into a run for president, not just the veep slot. And, from what I've seen so far, I'd vote fro him in a hearbeat.

OK, this time I really do question the timing.

I really liked her as mayor and she is doing ok as governor however considering McCains age and world events, I have my doubts as to her "gravitas" in the event of McCain's ummmm incapacity. Politically she is no conservative, at least not in the traditional sense of the word, more to the liberal wing of the Republican party. Not unlike John McCain!
