I once saw a display of Chinese made basketballs in a sporting goods store. They were like regular leather basketballs, except the seams were about 3/4 inch deep and 2 inches wide, with a "V" cross-section. They were cheap.

I'm going to have to dig out my hanzi dictionary as i don't remember the main two characters. The second line is Japanese though. Again I have to figure out the hiragana. I think the third line statrs with "Wo men de" which means "our."
Oh bugger. Don't make me work this hard.

The second line is Japanese hiragana, except that the second one from the left is katakana. It makes no sense to me and the mixed kana are not standard. My guess is, the Chinese put the Japanese on as decoration, as Japanese put English on some of their products as decoration.
