For
the same reason crack whores eschew the Republican party, military
officers, steeped in traditions of honor and love of country, as they
are, tend to avoid becoming democrats. When one does, it's a
good indication of moral turpitude, and rank political ambition. Weasel Clark joined this cadre of dishonorables, which roots trace back
to George B. McClellan, in 2003 so he could run for president.
Anyway, here are my two favorite quotes today that invoke Weasel's name.

But now that he has the nomination, he can drop the Wesley Clark`s of
the world like a chlamydia-infested potato. Suddenly among the normal,
Obama can no longer hold onto those nutty beliefs - which means, he
must turn right. I predicted this months ago – the Democrats know you
can`t run left because you`ll lose – which is funny, when you think
about it. The only way your party can win, is to abandon your party`s
beliefs. [The Daily Gut - "OBAMA AND THE CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND"]
From one of my favorite articles, a profile of Clark: "Interviews with
a wide variety of current and retired military officials reveal that
Clark was disliked by only three groups: Those whom ranked above him in
the chain of command whom he ignored, his peers at the same rank whom
he lied to, and those serving beneath him whom he micromanaged. Other
than that, everyone liked him." Jim Geraghty- NRO
