Best Palin Reaction Yet
"If the number of Islamic terror attacks continues at the current rate, candlelight vigils will soon be the number-one cause of global warming. " |

That's rich and on the money and there's something just under it: most Libs think anybody more conservative than RINOS like McCain don't even have a chance. A pro-gun, anti-abortion, global warming-resister one has zero chance of being elected to anything above town council in a rural redneck town. They are wrong and so are the Republicans who have allowed themselves to be duped into believing it, too. If McCain wins, it will be because of Palin, not in spite of. Watch and learn, Stupid Party.
I hope for change in the Repub party and Palin might signal the beginning of that.

From Ohio: The ladies at the office were thrilled with Palin's nomination Friday. These are folk who are not overtly political, swing voters if you will, but their inclination is probably Democratic. I don't believe a vote should be cast because of gender, but if that's what it takes to deliver the Buckeye state, I'll be tugging on that string in the upcoming weeks.

Speaking for myself, it would not have taken much from McCain to make me "oversleep" on election day. Now, I'm 'vigerated. Take away that "windfall profit" tax she pushed through, and I'd be on my knees.

"Which do Barack and Michelle believe?"
Which moment? Which hour? Which day? Which crowd?
Gotta be specific with dimocrats.

Right next door to that was a link to this from Iowahawk:
"The Idiossey
The Not-Really-That-Epic Poem of Obamacles
"Book the First: A question for the Muse
"Speak to me, O Muse, of this resourceful man
who strides so boldly upon the golden shrine at Invescos,
Between Ionic plywood columns, to the kleig light altar.
Fair Obamacles, favored of the gods, ascends to Olympus
Amidst lusty tributes and the strumming lyres of Media;
Their mounted skyboxes echo with the singing of his name
While Olbermos and Mattheus in their greasy togas wrassle
For first honor of basking in their hero's reflected glory.
Who is this man, so bronzed in countenance,
So skilled of TelePrompter, clean and articulate
whose ears like a stately urn's protrude?
So now, daughter of Zeus, tell us his story.
And just the Cliff Notes if you don't mind,
We don't have all day.
"Said the Muse..."
Read the whole thing. It's a riot!

Thank Iowahawk, Casca, he wrote it. I particularly liked the part where he battles the mighty Hildusa. Just the sight of whose cankles can turn a man to stone.
