Palin???

Scouring the Internet for possible presidential and VP combinations, most websites – such as McCainRomney.com, McCainHuckabee.com or McCainJindal.com – turn up as domain names for sale or general information sites.

Then there's McCainPalin.com.

The page displays paid political advertising and the statement, "Welcome to McCainPalin.com–the best source for information on the John McCain - Sarah Palin 2008 Republican Presidential Ticket. Stayed (sic) tuned for important announcements." [more]

Lets see ...we can support ugly McCain-like GOP men like Lieberman, Huckabee, Ridge and Romney. Or we can draft the new Mother-of-5 BABE (married to The Dude, as in Northern Exposure).

Conservative, Attractive, Pro-Life, Aggressive, Young and a Female. Count on putting a new GOP POTUS in the White House!

As much as I like her and as much as I'd like her as veep, some of the tax maneuvers she's pulled in Alaska have me a bit nervous. The huge tax increase she pushed for on the oil industry (ACES - Alaska’s Clear and Equitable Share), funds roughly 90% of the state’s budget, so Alaska now taxes to a surplus.
She also signed the second largest capital budget in state history.
She is nice to look at, though, and she'd cement the deal for McCain on all other counts. If he goes with a pro-choicer, he might as well throw in the towel, as far as the conservative vote goes.

Palin would cement my support for the ticket. I might even get off the sidelines and actively campaign. Haven't done that since 2000.

I'm still for Romney, but Palin may pull in some Hillary folk. For whatever reason, diversity still has a say.
They gonna call us racists no matter what, so we can end up calling them misogynists.
Garrr, I hate diversity. I want quality. Go Mitt!!

It doesn't matter to me who he picks, I ain't votin' for 'im. I mean, they are seriously talking about the possibility that he may choose Lieberman. LIEBERMAN! Think about that. I'm taking this opportunity to chuck the weasely Packs and vote Libertarian. Go Bob Barr!
I'm GrinfilledCelt and I approved this message.

Well dang, GrinfilledCelt, why don't you wait until McNasty actually names a Veep? Don't fall for the hype. Bob Barr was my congresscritter years ago. He's lost his f*ing mind. You can't be serious about voting for him, eh?

BTW, what's a weasely Pack?

What the heck difference does it make who the heck he names as veep unless he also promises to croak the day after his inauguration? After twenty years of his pissing me off every time he opens his mouth*, nobody has managed to convince me that McCain would be anything but marginally better than Obama and I'm sick to death of voting for the lessers of evil.

Everything I need to know about Obama is summed up in this one statement: He is a Democrat politician. All the rest is just details confirming that statement.
"Obama lies..."
I know, he is a Democrat politician.
"Obama is a hypocrite."
Well, Duh! He is a Democrat politician.
"Obama is corrupt."
Yes, because he is a Democrat politician.

Everything I know about McCain amounts to the fact that he is a RINO which means the exact same thing. Therefore I ain't votin, for 'im.

There are two Democrats in this race. If you vote for one of them you're going to regret it. Say what you like about Bob Barr - he isn't a Democrat so he gets my vote.

Packs (as opposed to Donks) = Pachyderms = Republicans

*A habit he shows no inclination to change, btw.
