Desperation

Nut root kook Panic
LMAO
I guess what started this is Chuck Hagel  saying  it's "a stretch' to say Palin is qualified."  Poor, bitter Chuck.  That got the nutroots, who are desperate for something to hang their slim hopes on, all excited.  That includes taxpayer funded PBS, which promptly put up a poll.  They're pushing the notion that of she isn't qualified, by virtue of inexperience in foreign policy (I know), then she isn't qualified to be vice-president.

Hell, even I had one slip under the netting:

The Twelfth Amendment to the United States Constitution states that "no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."

Expect a lawsuit.
Pissant.

I'm pretty damn sure that if something does happen to McCain during their administration, ol' Chuckie Hagel is not going to be high up on President Palin's list of choices to be her VP.

I don't know where I read this but back in 1901 President Mckinnley was assasinated and his VP took the reins of power. That VP only had two years executive experience as the Governor of NY. That VP/President was Teddy Roosevelt. Even though it's marginally more complicated now because of our enemy within, I think Sarah can handle the job.

The Dems screaming "Palin as a Govenor has no experience!" should be carefull....

All the RNC has to do is hold up pictures of Governor Jimmy Carter and Governor Bill Clinton. Neither of which had Soviet warships steaming past their ports or Bear bombers flying over their airspace.

I'm in the process of re-reading a biography of Theodore Roosevelt I had in my library (he discouraged 'Teddy' after his first wife died)

Anyway, the similarities between TR and Gov Palin are striking. The first poster hit the nail on the head. In addition, both were reformers who went after their own party as well as the democrats.

As far as executive experience, when I think about it, most of my clients are far more qualified than Obmama. They actually run businesses.

I'm also going to try to get an 'empty suit' rally together locally. We can all get an old suit, stuff it with newspapers and bring it to a rally

Oh, one final fart in this stream of conciousness...I seemed to have missed the NOW poll where they asked if barak "franklin Raines is my buddy" obamama or joe 'Stand up chuck' Biden was qualified...oh, never mind...

This straw poll is a deliberate red herring detracting from the more important question, which is whether Obama is qualified to be PotUS. THAT's the question we should be voting on.

I can taste their fear.

It is delicious.
