- The media are atwitter over the so called "Trooper-Gate" affair,
which has been examined ad nauseam, and found without merit.
Don't matter to them. The " surprise" is that a Palin
enemy, Alaska state senator, and democrat, Hollis French is running an investigation of the affair and says he's releasing his final report by Oct. 31st, 4 days before the election. The solution of course is
to get the facts out early and often, and the Flopper makes it easy,
with this compendium.

Obama Using Hollis French to 'Fact-Check' Palin? [Greg Pollowitz]
I was reading the Democrats' fact-check of Palin's speech (which I mentioned in this post ) and this caught my eye:
2007: Palin Vetoed $20 Million Toward A Fire Island Wind Farm
Project. “[Sen. Hollis] French and [Anchorage Mayor Mark] Begich both
lamented the [Palin] veto of $20 million toward a Fire Island wind farm
project and connecting transmission lines. That money was part of
Railbelt Energy Fund cash that Palin said she doesn’t want to spend
until a study on energy needs is finished.” [Anchorage Daily News

The Obama campaign is using the "nonpartisan" guy in charge of Palin's
investigation as a political prop? Doesn't this basically end any
argument whether Senator French should still be in charge of this? [NRO MEDIA BLOG]
