Huff and Stuff

A letter from Grinfilledcelt

I'm beginning to be impressed with Huff & Puff.  I haven't looked at it much yet, but I have seen evidence that there are some people there with a few functioning brain cells who are not just regurgitating lefty talking points and/or spitting bile.

Then there was this over at the WaPo which I found here.  These links would be handy the next time you need to demonstrate which party marches in lockstep.

"These scores represent the percentage of votes on which a lawmaker agrees with the position taken by a majority of his or her party members. The scores do not include missed votes. All lawmakers who served during this congress are included."

"In the Senate, 33 Democrats and 1 Independent vote along party lines nearly 94% of the time before you even get to the first Republican on the list.  The bottom 10: ALL Republicans.  17 out of the bottom 20 are Republicans.  (Of note: Lieberman votes with the Dems 86.6% of the time, but that’s not enough for the “progressive” wing of the party, I guess.)

"In the House, 153 Democrats and 2 Republicans vote along party lines 97% of the time or more.  Again, Republicans make up the majority of those who are more moderate in their votes.

"So which party is the party of moderation and which one is the party that demands officials toe the party line?"

I have read articles from a few people and later found out that they have contributed to the Huffington Post.

I saw a Greg Gutfeld quote on this blog, he and Andy Levi both contributed to the Huff. (They met through the Huff) One of John McCain's financial advisers had a regular column on the post.
