Sammich Hall of Fame

Today's Treat

I invented the Lula-Mae Bunpuckie  for my kids by adding bacon to the All-American grilled cheese with dill pickle sammich.  It is now being (very successfully) sold in an area restaurant. You can make it without paying a royalty.

Just imagine how good it would be if you used real cheese instead of American Singles. A little of your favorite mustard would be good on there too.

I agree with UU...chips IN the sammich.

Try this one: Thick sourdough, two kinds of really good cheese, ham and bacon, add tomato slices and grill.

The thing about comfort food is that it's traditional. You can use Brie, but we've always used American cheese, and always will. S'why I buy it. Actually, MoSup does prefer Provolone, but that's because she grew up eating fancy Polish food.
