Today's Mood
Kramer- Mitchell, decidedly ugly

Kramer began the morning on NBC's Today Show by urging investors to liquidate their stock portfolios and build a 5 year reserve of cash.  Thank you Kramer.  Any chance for US markets to stem the overnight plunge in world markets just went out the window.

That followed Andrea Mitchell quoting the New York Times saying "it doesn't appear that Obama had a close relationship with terrorist Bill Ayers/"   She blamed Sarah Plain for beginning the Obama-Ayre's smear, and told her audience that once again her "style" was lampooned by Saturday Night Live. 

On the plus side, for the first time Obama is not ahead in  Colorado

Driving in to work this morning after dropping the kid off at school, I heard a caller say, "But Ayers has never been convicted of a bombing. He's not a convicted terrorist. Obama can hang wit' him if he wants."

Then again, Ossama bin Laden also hasn't been convicted of a bombing and is not a convicted terrorist. Following that logic, that would mean it is also okay for BHO to be pals w/ OBL.
