Moving to national poll numbers we find more uncertainty. Gallup's
tracking poll has consistently shown Obama with a double-digit lead
most of the past week. Yet, three other tracking polls are moving in
McCain's direction and show this race to be within the margin of
error. What gives! - Election Projection

I subscribe to EP for
it's comprehensive poll tracking down to the state level.
Deconstructing methods used to arrive at the numbers is not EP's
forte. Still, as the election draws nearer, we're seeing more
doubts from the punditry about Obama's "it's in the bag"
braggadocio. As well there should be. It defies common
sense that a candidate as shallow as Obama could be where he's
supposedly at, and that's because he's not.
In case you missed it, Zogby prolly nailed it.
