Obama's Travels

Lenin in Paris

The question may soon become: If the United States Gummint is overthrown by silent coup, how does the average citizen respond?  How will you respond?

I am further compelled to ponder the question after reading Mystery Contributions Flood Obama, which snippet follows.  You will want to read it all.  It is a candidate for broadcast via E-mail.
g
"Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California. He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. 'Barry' (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan.

"During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a 'round the world' trip, stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family."

Who financed this costly world tour?

On his return, he stopped being Barry and became Barack, and went to Columbia University where tuition is anything but cheap. Who paid it? After Columbia, he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. A year. "Why Chicago? " the reader asked. "Why not New York? He was already living in New York."

I have several thousand rounds of .308 and two rifles to shoot it out of. I have as much (if not more) .303 and two rifles to shoot that.

The amount of .45 is literally uncountable. Three handguns.

Two concealed carry pieces. Two shotguns and so much 12 gauge it won't fit in my trunk.

And I'm under gunned compared to many of my suburban friends.

Oh, yeah, couple thousand dollars in 20 dollar bills in a conv. location.

Dunno, how ready are you?

Doo-ude. My long lost twin has surfaced. Dittos on the .308s, 2 pumps and one over under, I prefer a .40, love my Sig, numerous other handguns strategically placed around my home and studio. My .45 is a AMT Backup, my night stand weapon, pitiful sights(?), worthless over 10 feet.

Got Kugs-1 ouncers, I should get some smaller denominations.

I would love an AR-15, but all my weapons are unregistered and getting my hands on an unpapered one has been impossible, at least for me.Of course I would love an RPG too. But that's just me.

The thing is, none of us are likely to ever live the dream. Action like that requires participation on a grand level. As we speak, Brown shirts called ACORN are pillaging our democracy ... has there been even one instance where the citizenry have spontaneously responded with clubs and pitchforks? No. Because we are law abiders. The only scenario I can drum up in my head is not real good, military intervention, otherwise know as a bloody coup. But, it may come to that.

Bought a Bushmaster XM-15 and five-hundred rounds of FMJ last night.

Anon:

Troll the gunshows ... stripped AR lowers pop up once in a while.

All of the other pieces can be bought mail-order with money orders.

If you have an AR lower, you also have something you can mount a Sefety Harbor .50 BMG upper on ( uppers are not "firearms", and can be mail-ordered ).

Take a look at what's happening in southern Oregon, via my pal Max:

Will it work? "Wouldn't it be nice to think so?" (Ernest Hemmingway, "The Sun Also Rises".)
