Been
wondering how those "Blue Dog" Democrats, who took Republican seats in
2004 by campaigning to the right of their opponents, have been
doing. ( They promised us conservatism and that increased their share of the Evangelical vote by 15%). Are
they really more conservative? Or,are they liars? What do

All of these “Blue Dogs” have turned into “Pink Poodles.”
Using the American Conservative Union’s (ACU) rating system, 24
freshmen Democrats were measured against the Republicans they defeated.
The average defeated Republican carried an ACU rating of 80%. The
average, “Pink Puddle” who replaced him/her has an ACU rating of 9%.
The most conservative defeated Republicans had an average ACU rating of 94%. Their “Pink Poodle” replacements averaged just 21%.
We must vote with our heads this year or suffer the consequences.
