“ Oliver Stone's W.  Well, it ran out of steam. QED International/Lionsgate's Bush biopic sank 58% to No. 8 with $1.5 million Friday from 2,050 dates for what will probably be a $5.2M weekend. The $30M negative cost film should end up with $23M domestic box office gross by the end of its North American run. That means, with a $25M P&A investment and Lionsgate's distribution fees, the film won't recoup. ”

So? People have stopped going to the theaters. DVD rentals/streaming video is where the real data is. Besides did it last long than "American Carol"?

Oliver Stone's "W" was hyped like it was a Kenyan wetback running for president, while "American Carol" received the same attention Nancy Pelosi's transfer of gummint cash to her husband received. None.

Watch out you don't cut yourself with that spoon.

Fantasy of the day.. I'm tired of thise hollywood heine holes portraying bush as stupid..I'd like to see Oliver Stoned ATTEMPT to fly one mission in an F-102.

When I worked as a civilian for the Navy, I met a lot of stupid people and a lot of pilots. I NEVER met a stupid fighter pilot.. There is a name for them.. deceased.

When they put the first model of the F-102 into a wind tunnel all the engineers looked at each other and said "uh oh, we really screwed up with this design".

Of course, if Michale moore wanted to take a 102 up, they'd have to triple the size of the cockpit and strap 40 or 50 JATO bottles on the sucker.
