Rockville: It was working fine an hour ago. I seem to recall her posting a message yesterday saying the site would be off-line sometime today while they changed servers. I'm assuming that's why we're getting the... odd advertisement, at the moment.

This votin' thing is looking like maybe somebody is asking for civil war.
Picked up a few toys while visiting Raytheon and the kids a coupla months ago. They promissed that the stuff would all work out of the bomb bays of a B-52. Except a couple items that need to be straped on. -

My son is 18 and just started his freshman year at Florida State University in August. He is a resident of Maryland AND is registered to vote in Maryland.
Some Obama people (as he put it) came around campus on Saturday (November 1st) and told the students that even if they were out-of-state, they could vote TODAY. All they had to do is show them a driver's license and a social security card. He did AND he voted (for Obama, to my chagrin. But that's not the point.).
Today when I voted, I asked the "head honcho" at my polling place if it was possible for him to vote HERE. He said "Yes". He also said that probably (PROBABLY??!!!) "his vote in Florida wouldn't count...". True, he wouldn't drive all the way back here to do that, but what if he did? How many of those students already voted in their home states (in person or through absentee ballot) and then voted again on Saturday? Sounds pretty fishy to me.
BTW, he told me he also voted on a bunch of referendums that he had no idea what they were about..... -

SondraK is still offline for me, but I do know when you change servers it sometimes takes a while for every IP server to finish updating, so it could take a while....
