Booby EPA

RFK Jr.: Too controversial for EPA?

A well-respected climate lawyer, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has also been in the spotlight for his controversial environmental statements.

Too controversial?  Not even Albert Gore trumps Bobby Kennedy when it comes to blithering idiocy.  Bobby and his sister Kathleen were the basis for my PhD thesis: "Quantifying IQ Drain With Each Successive Child In A Typical Irish Family Named Kennedy." Only my lack of a high school diploma disqualified it.  Freaking snobs.  And who in the hell pronounced him "well-respected?"  The same people who named Walter Cronkite "America's most trusted man" no doubt.

But I digress.  Here's the basis by which Obama will be held accountable in the Booby matter.
A month ago, Obama sent a letter to the leaders of the National Academies vowing that he would take scientific integrity seriously, even if the verdict runs counter to his own views. He said he'd issue an executive order "establishing clear guidelines for the review and release of publicly sponsored research, guaranteeing that results are released in a timely manner and are not distorted by ideological biases." [Found amidst a sea of irony]
Below, the (partial) case against Booby.
RFK Jr. blasted for hog farm remarks.
If his name were Bob Fitzgerald, he’d be dismissed as another one of the kooks on the fringe

Voices of moderation dept.: RFK Jr.
Enviro naysayers "should all drink poison Kool Aid and restore integrity to their profession.”

Polluting the Truth
I accuse Kennedy of "crimes against fact."

RFK Jr.’s “Crimes Against Nature”
(”the book affords the fun of a pratfall on every page, most of them occasioned by Kennedy’s epic self-righteousness and astounding disregard for conventional accuracy”).

Après Katrina, le Déluge
Now we are all learning what it's like to reap the whirlwind of fossil fuel dependence. . . . Our destructive addiction has given us a catastrophic war in the Middle East and--now--Katrina is giving our nation a glimpse of the climate chaos we are bequeathing our children.

Dangerous Kook At The EPA?
Why the "?" ?

Say it ain't so, Barack! Say you ain't seriously considering Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to run the EPA!
Never mind that he's a booster of pseudoscience, a hothead prone to comparing political enemies to Hitler and Mussolini, and a lawyer whose science background appears to be primarily torturing science to fit his agenda more than anything else.

On, and on, and on ....

Did you prove the inverse square relationship Rodger--that is each successive generation is

1/x^2

as smart as the previous where x is the number of generations? ;-)

It's really too bad. Bobby Kennedy (Senior) was probably the last politician of either party that I really admired. It's sad to see his children go totally wacko the way they have.

1/x^2. Yeah. That one. At first I wasn't going to use that, but then I did.

I came across a new term for those of us who expect to be treated fair and square: rankist.

I watched Robert Fuller on UCTV this morning explain to me that since I was a white guy, I had a higher rank than that of non-white guys.

You can catch a glimpse of this guy here: http://tinyurl.com/5outgb

The beauty of this is, since I am a rankist, there are chances that I outrank you. And, if you're a Leftist--a non-believer of rankism--then I definately outrank you.

Now here's the real beauty: if you are a rankist white guy, you can become a non-rankist by adopting socialism! Hooray!

I love it when brainy guys create a problem and a solution all at the same time!

Did I hear that Ayers dedicated one of his propaganda rants to Sirhan Sirhan? If so, your thesis is proven in spades boss.

Just a point about this global warming BS.... The Great Lakes DIDN"T EXIST 5000 YEARS AGO..

Nope.. If you wanted to get to the Great Lakes in 3000 BC. then you would have had to drill down through 2 FREAKING MILES of ice.

ABout 15 miles north of Philly PA you will find a LOT of grey boulders.. Guess What.. They were dumped there by the edge of the glacier from the last ice age which was 100000 years ago.. The ice sheet has been receeding constantly for 10 - 20000 years.

THis is about the destruction of capitalism and allowing algore to become a xillionaire with his carbon trading company.
