GFYS GOP

Note To GOP
Eat Shit, Then Die
This tabloid trash doesn't ring true on several counts, not the least of which is Sarah Palin would hardly need a Republican goon squad to retrieve their rags.  Absent any response from the GOP, however, or even John McCain, one must conclude they are complicit in this attempted assassination.  Their incompetence alone would seem to demand mass resignations by everyone in the Bush GOP machine, but this calls for something more.  Like beating them bloody senseless with cricket bats.

I've tried to comment on the GOP Blog (I'm registered), but can't log in.  MFCS cowards.

The question here is not whether Palin was a good or a bad choice for vice president.  Reasonable people disagree on that one.  It's about the character of the McCain campaign.  There is no doubt that it included some fine people who, whatever their opinions, wouldn't be involved in this kind of behavior.  But it also, obviously, included some who would.  John McCain ran for president, to some large degree, on the character he had displayed throughout his life.  Not so for some of those around him.  What a bunch of losers.  [Byron York

For one thing there is quite a defense of Palin mounting in the blogosphere. Gosh, if you had to come up with a plot to endear her to the base, increase anger against the McCain bumblers and lift the fighting spirits of conservatives you couldn’t come up with a better idea than continuing to trash Palin in the media. Is it a Rovian plot?

They may want to let sleeping dogs lay. Sarah seems content to go home right now and govern Alaska. She dosen't seem the type I would want to piss off if I was the libs.

This is a media driven assassination attempt, and needs to be addressed now on her behalf.

Can't wait to see how Palin, McCain and the GOP will address this. The journalistic thugocracy continues. Also, anyone know what the betting odds are on Bush granting pardons to Ramos and Campean?

Sarah, here's what you do:
Get the resignation of that scumbag crook felon senator of yours, then appoint yourself to the US Senate. You'll know what to do when you get there.

The greatest punishment for Bush/McCainists is to isolate them from power. New blood! (rhetorically speaking)

Hey DougM: Senator Stephens is a good man, War Hero and all.
Stop believing the press and seek the facts. His trial was a sham, evidence withheld, a key whitness snet home, before he could testify, Prosecatorial misconduct. He had a jury composed of Washington DC idiots, the same folks that voted Marion "The Bitch Set Me Up" Barry, back as mayor after he got out of prison. The Same Jury composed of people that voted 97% for Hussian Obamanation.
Stay tuned for more such show trials.
I think Sen Stepohens will step down, and we will have a special election. The Gov. can only appoint a Senator for 90 here in AK.Then, we will have a special election. If Stephens hadn't stayed in the race, we would have Mark Biegich, a Democrat pal of & beholden to Chuck Shcumar- NOWBODY wants that.
Sarah will remain more effective as a High Profile Governor of a singular state, rather than as one of 100 senators, and in the minority at that.

DougM: she needs to stay Governor ... and get re-elected governor in 2010.

Standard progression in the US is:

State Governor -> US President

I'm sure that in a state like Alaska, a second real conservative can be found to appoint to the Senate.

As much as I despise John McCain, other than his reprehensible silence on the issue, I don't believe he has anything to do with the trashing of Sarah Palin. Maybe I'm missing something, but why would he trash Sarah? What's in it for him? He gains nothing, there is no motive.

When I look for motive in the republican party to smear Sarah Palin, I see two possibilities.

First, whoever wants the Republican nomination next year. That would be a motive to smear Sarah, wouldn't it?

Second... well, Team McCain. Let's face it, the next presidential campaign they work on ain't gonna be John McCain's, he's toast. Team McCain won't work with Sarah, and Sarah won't work with Team McCain, not after the way they tried to muzzle her.

So Team McCain has a motive, Team McCain needs a job!

Yup. I think "Team McCain" is auditioning for a job on the next campaign or maybe even following the orders of their new boss.

Yup. I'd bet on Romney or Huckabee or Rudy as being behind the Palin smears.

If McCain believed his crossing of the isles is what gave him "prefernce" among some Dem's and Ind's he should have chosen Hillary as his VP and made history. BUT, he sought someone the base would support because w/o Palin he was dead in the water and would have experienced a landslide loss. Well, that and he wanted to live past 6 mos if Hillary was his VP.

SARAH PALIN and her family, ROCK!!! Correctly, Rodger, the rags are out to ensure she will never rise from the ash. So she mustn't ever burn in the first place.

Politically speaking, the man (McCain)is garbage! Love the carcass, Rodger. And, "props" to RAK, Mr. Alaska. :)

Today's lame joke:

When McCain chose Palin as his VP select he heard shouts of "mazel tav!"

He thought they were shouting "muzzle tough" and so he did.

tadumbum

so don't trade mark it?

We, the True Believers, MUST begin today to take back control of our nation. F-ck the establishment! F-ck the GOP! Republicans got us into this mess; CONSERVATIVES will deliver us.

Pres-elect Obamoses hat just two short years to work his miracles. My belief is that by March '09, the airheads who voted for him will begin to be disillusioned when they go to their mailboxes and don't find that gummint check for their gasoline and mortgages. It might take a few months for them to begin to realize that they've been LIED to, but when they do, they're gonna be p-ssed to the max. Maybe then they will listen to reason. Don't lie to them; LEAD them yo the RIGHT way of thinking. Hard work gets rewarded, leaches and lay-abouts get culled.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

They spent $20,000 more dressing up Joe Biden than Sarah Palin, and not a word from the media.

Also, Barack went in his twerpy little suit to go vote while Sarah went in jeans and a leather jacket. The ironic part is the emperor has no clothes and no one's noticing outside the Blogosphere.

McCain warned Sarah, before she flew home, that the press and others in the GOP would try and sweep her legs out from under her, because they fear her. They want her to get so fed up with the endless attacks that she stays home in 2012.
Rodger, I think Wayne Anthony Ross would be great!

Linda, I don't think anybody is saying McCain is behind this. I'm po'd that he didn't step forward early and stop it. Nobody yet knows who's behind it, but I suspect it's one of the shitballs who run the GOP, with ties to the 2012 Dole/McCain wannabe.

The law in Alaska requires a special election, should a replacement for Stevens be needed.

An election shouldn't be a big problem ... even an Alaska Democrat would be considered a right-wing fascist kook in the socialist states.
