Let's be a litle more proactive

Today's Brilliant Idea

100,000 votes would have sent Pelosi packing.  Are you thinking what I'm thinking?   Beginning now, we begin quietly registering in Cali District 8.  No, you don't have to live there, and a park bench will suffice as a home address.  Then, before the 2010 off-year election, we get absentee ballots, and presto!  She'll never know what hit her.  You'll have to forfeit your vote back home, though - we're not law breakers.   It's patriotic for another reason.  Like when the democrats went nuts with the special prosecutor law?  It wasn't until they were hoist on that petard themselves that they got rid of it. They'll look at ACORN a bit differently after we use it to cut them down. So, who's in?

PS -- After I pasted some Charles Manson features on that whack job Sheehan, it struck me that she actually looks better.  Not so pasty.  What do you think?

Brilliant idea! And since my vote in Montgomery County, Maryland is not worth spit, I might as well.

I know the feeling, Thomas. In the Republican primaries, the candidates are usually unopposed, and in the general elections, they lose.

I think it would be a good idea if MD Republicans moved across the river to VA. It wouldn't make a difference to MD, but it would help arrest Virginia's slide to the left.

Once I'm done exploiting MD's educational subsidies, I think I'll take my own advice.

I'm in.

By the way, I couldn't figure out why the "Pot" referendum was back until I saw the voter turn out in the college districts. Flys on poop, it passed and got the Alien and Chief more of those good double votes. They also banned dog racing, so 1,000 greyhounds will be executed and the same ammount of people will lose their jobs.

Interesting idea, Rodg, but I'm stuck here in Columbus with this:

"Republican state Sen. Steve Stivers clung to a 321-vote lead over Democratic Franklin County Commissioner Mary Jo Kilroy out of more than 250,000 votes counted in the district covering western Franklin County and all of Madison and Union counties."

I'm one of those 321 keeping the country from Kilroy. Who you really don't want on your radar.

Here's Stivers, abbreviated:

Senator Stivers is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Ohio Army National Guard. He has more than 23 years of service and served the nation oversees for nearly a year in Operation Iraqi Freedom in Kuwait, Iraq, Qatar and Djibouti. During his service in the Army National Guard he has held positions as Radio-Teletype Operator, Chemical Officer, Company Commander, Logistics Officer, Executive Officer and Battalion Commander.

Jeez Rog, that should come with a bit more of a warning. I physically recoiled in horror.

As for the SanFranNanPlan, count me in. I can even make a scouting trip to map out all of the really good benches/public sites. I'll be moving into the bushes at her local library. I think those people will feed me there. Of course my system may not function on tofu. (Note to self, pack multivitamins.)

good lord, I'm reminded that we now have gummint that's an amalgam of the very worst elements of San Francisco and Chicago.

Casca, I'm serious. How about finding out the best way to do this? Can we register on-line, etc.
