I didn't think I followed politics as closely as I should but got them all correct except the Tina Fey one, but at least I did think it was a misquote of Palin. It's sad that there are so many that know so little and even sadder that they seem so proud of it.
Most thought it was humorous that they didn't know the answers as opposed to being embarrassed by it.
Tina Fey was probably watched by more Democrat voters than Sarah Palin was.
Willful ignorance by the masses. I'll bet they can't check their own motor oil either, or even realize that it needs to be checked and changed regularly. Balance a check book? HAH! these dolts are products of our Union driven education system.
Thank the MoFoing teacher's union for the most god awful edjumacation that a effing union can buy.
Sorry it's the same left dominated MSM that I'm swimming in but I was taught to question, question, question. Both by my mom and by the nuns and brothers. I listen to the other side's radio, read leftie websites, actually try to find well reasoned opinions from liberals. Hell I was a liberal when I was 18. Based on what I see from them, we are finished, they hate-I mean really hate-conservatives, we are stupid and Bush was without a doubt THE worst President ever. And when I say they hate conservatives, that's means you and me. We hate the Franks and Pelosis but these poor people, hate? Not me.
You can try and blame the left dominated MSM all you want. Without the most fundamental thing you can have which is a mind that tries to process as much information before deciding, results like this election are always going to happen. Always. Have you heard how Republicans lost the youth vote, big time? It's their insidious plan bearing fruit-and this year wasn't even a bumper crop.
The young people I know with their heads screwed on are mostly either home schooled or have been in parochial schools. My experience dating single moms whose children attend public schools is disheartening. Same thing as these people, not a clue about current events other then what their own circle jerk-which is the media they listen too and their friends-pass back and forth.
Here I go again but the solution is simple. Inoculation against the lies, distortions, and lies of omission they saturate our children. And to do that, you must open their minds with a proper education. You must teach children about American Exceptialism, you must give them a basic historical and economic foundation from which they can make their own minds up. Even in the cesspool of this culture, armed with a proper education, I'll bet on that kind of mind every day. Jimmy has Two Dads, forced viewing of An Inconvenient Truth, condoms on bananas, rain forest math-that is what they get, and worse too with some of these scummy teachers.
This election shows why the teacher's unions and the dems will fight until they are no longer drawing breathe any and all attempts to allow choice and competition in public schools. They know that they'll always win the dumb down vote.
If you want to fight back, this is the place to start. They know it too, look at the POS Ayers, where has been his focus?

The government schools have been successful, producing knowledge free graduates. It's very easy to make idiot voters out of these ignorant people.
You're right, MM, the schools are mainly in the business of producing children who are dumber than when they went in. It makes me think that South Park isn't too far fetched when they show Mr. Garrison teaching the episode titles and dates of when Charo appeared on The Love Boat. I remember when Logic was a required high school course and now most college students couldn't even define the word.
For those of us on the right who have ever spoken to an Obama supporter*, this is a dog-bites-man story along the lines of, "Study Shows Men And Women Are Different". The great shock for us was when we realized how many people were that stupid.

*If you should have been so lucky as to have found one capable of articulating coherent sentences rather than just swearing at you.
Hmmm... I would like to see a national poll done along the lines of that street interview done on the Howard Sterns Show - where they were asking questions about BO's stances on the issues which were 180 degrees from his actual positions.
GrinfilledCelt
If you challenged any of these dolts about the carelessness of their un-informed vote they would prolly come back with something like, "It's my right to vote". Actually it's your civic duty to study and understand the issues and then make an informed choice. It's your "right" to fart in a restaurant too but you should have the decency to refrain. Pucking fathetic...
This is over at my site as well. Along with recommended medicine for the upcoming national illness.
The United States is officially retarded. My first question to someone is, did you vote? If yes, then, who is your local Representative? If they can't answer that, then what's the point?

Over a year before this last election, I called my local GOP here in Jefferson County. I wanted to know who was going to run against buttboy, Ed Perlmutter, so I could sign on with his campaign and get to work.
I was hoping for an Iraqi vet, either sex is fine, any color too. These people had no clue who was in the running. Weeks led to months, finally they gave me some guy's number. I contacted him several times and he never got back to me.
One day, the doorbell rings and the guy says I saw your McCain sign, I'm running in the 7th, can I put my sign in your yard? I'm like dude, I have been trying for months to find out who you are. We go back and forth, I find out he's getting pretty much nothing from the GOP, a shoestring campaign, no debates-at that time-lined up with buttboy-all in all a freaking dismal effort.
I've decided I'm going to be a LOUD squeaky wheel in my district this time around-2010-I want a vet, a strong backer of vouchers and someone that is going to really challenge Perlmutter-this is ridiculous in a Republican district, at least the first time, to lose 2-1, ridiculous.

MM:
Get some vet friends together, and join your local precinct committee, with the intent of taking it over.
You local R people are chair warmers ... they won't help you, and will probably try to hinder you from getting in.
Get a copy of your state organization's bylaws, and crash the party.
And buy a copy of this damned spendy used paperback and read it.
It 'spensive for a reason.
