Skins-Steelers

Redskins-Steelers
what does it mean?

If the Steelers win, it means that a real divine being has interceded as reward for the state of PA going McCain-Palin.  If Redskins win, it means what it always means -- Washington takes what it wants, when it wants it, so GFYS.

Redskins lose, 23-6.

What does it mean? It means the Skins didn't hand the ball to Portis enough, and the pass coverage was too soft.

If it wasn't for the onsides kick recovery and the early interception, this could have been a shutout. As it was, both of Suisham's field goals were 40+ yards.

This is a team that can beat good opponents, but they have to play well and make the right calls. They have to use their strengths: Portis and Cooley on offense, and the linebackers on defense. Fletcher had a great game, but it wasn't near enough.
