Martin County, FL, where I live went solidly for McCain by 60/40. (It's the only solid Republican county on the Southeast coast.)

The critical date is 2010 when the House of Representatives goes back to the Republicans.

We often forget that the left consists of three groups. The elites who look down upon us and feel we need their devine guidance, the helpless slugs that dont care that they have nothing as long as it gets taken from eveyone else, and those who feel guilty about doing well. The last group will suffer the most.
