TIMES and Treason

All Secrets Fit To Print

Security: The New York Times is reporting the U.S. military has "broad, secret authority" to kill al-Qaida terrorists anywhere on Earth. As is too often the case, the Times has spilled information it should have sat on

None dare call it treason, of course, this telegraphing of information that is useful to our enemies. But the Times nudged up against it when it revealed in Monday's edition the existence of a "secret order" from 2004 that "gave the military new authority to attack the al-Qaida terrorist network anywhere in the world, and a more sweeping mandate to conduct operations in countries not at war with the United States." None dare call it treason?  Teacher .. teach ... teacher!! Here!  Over Here!

...which side the legacy media are on and question what value they put on American lives. If they claim to be acting out of principle, then their paradigm is irreversibly corrupted and needs to be changed. drastically with extreme prejudice.

I thought since 9/11 we already had authority to attack the al-Qaida terrorist network anywhere in the world.

You'da thunk. Bush ought to issue this as an Executive Order so The Selected One has to publicly cancel.

The article I saw was in the International Herald Tribune, not the NYT.

Interesting, but like most people, I thought this was already fact for a long time. Since 9/11, my asusmption was this was the case.

No wonder Sarah checked up a bit when asked about "the Bush Doctrine" by Katie Colon. She must have been thinking,"Do I kill her here, or is she just making a pass at me.".
